They were awesome.

2. What was particularly special or memorable about those books?
That was the first book series I ever completed.

3. Have you re-read any of them as an adult?
No, but I intend to.

4. If so, were the books as good as you remembered them?
I think they'll be better.

5. What do you think about movies being made out of children's classics (like the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of The Rings, etc.)?
Well, I never saw the Chronicles of Narnia movie. I think Jackson did a very good job with Lord of the Rings.

I find that LJ posts, especially long ones, are easier to read when they're under the cut with the black font over the white background.

Anyway, I LOVE IU! I've met some really cool people here, music majors AND non-music majors. There are some really nice girls on my floor and my neighbors, even though they're not music majors, are really into the performing arts. We're planning on seeing operas together (by the way, how freaking nerdy is that?). My circle of friends is starting to form and classes haven't even started yet. I'm not having any roommate troubles at all; my roommate is really sweet. I feel really good about this...really really good.

So, I go to IU, and of course, I'll have to brag about all the awesomeness of it. I shall HAVE to put it in list form:

- IU has the largest number of the O-sized pianos in the world. That's right. It's in Bloomington, Indiana.
- We put on six operas a year. Six!
- We put on at least three ballets each year...and this year they're putting on Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. That's right bitch, screw the Chicago Symphony, come to IU to see the real ballet!
- We have a building that's only practice rooms. That's all. Just the practice room building.
- Our music building has a really sweet fountain in front of it. It's like, really sweet.
- There's at least one person from every one of the 50 states in the freshman class of the music school.
- The 6th floor of our dormitory is supposedly haunted. So that's pretty cool.
- Our pit is the size of the pit at the Metropolitan Opera House.
What are your future goals, in the next 10 years?
Well first, I need to find a goal. I'm not really sure what I'm doing with my life, to be honest. I'm hoping Indiana will help me with that...or they better help me with that...'cause I'm shafted otherwise. Right now, I'm into a LOT of stuff, and if you told me to pick something right now, I wouldn't be able to. Hopefully, I'll end up doing something that's a combination of all my interests; I would love to be a superviolinistcomposerconductorrecordingartistmathematicianteacherofanysubjectprivateteacher.

2. Who do you feel influences you the most in your life?
Influencesssss. A lot of my friends and Dustin influence me the most. But as far as who I really am and what I really believe, I think I developed that by myself. Actually, y'know, I'd be lying if I said Dustin didn't influence me the most. :P I always talk things over my decisions and my thought processes with him to make sure I'm not on crack. But yeah, I'll stick to saying that I make my own choices at the end.

3. What was the most romantic thing that someone has done for you?
GAG ALERT. H'anyway, August 2004, Dustin made me a book that basically summed up the past 6 months of the relationship (...well, at the time it was 6 months). Either that or a lot of 7th grade stuff. -_-

4. Are you content with how things are going for you now?
Hm. Yeah, overall, I think I'm pretty good. Things are definately looking up; Indiana in the fall, LA in the summer, summer music...yeah, I think things are definately looking up. :)

5. Tell me about your best friend.
Well, I've known this girl literally since I was born. In fact, I think we were born in the same hospital. It's really funny now that she's my best friend because we always fought when we were kids. But now, I think she's one of the most brilliant and beautiful people I know. What a catch.
